Hubig's Pie Order

In anticipation of an upcoming trip to New Oreleans for Mardi Gras, of all things. I usually go during non-severe tourist season but the opportunity beat on my door with a sledgehammer.

Hubig’s pies are made in the Bywater – you can smell the factory blocks away. Available at most local stores. Usually by the time I get rolling they’re out of everything but Apple.

Great weekend!

Bargain Hunting 101 was much fun! I hope the merchants did well, and sold lots of stuff. I did here generally the Crystal was too dark and it was difficult to see stuff. We walked away with some great bargains – including silk harem pants for Mardi Gras

Saturday I hiked the Mult. Falls/Wakeena loop plus a little more. The weather turned out to be just fine – foggy and cool to sunny and delightful. Great hike past flumes and falls I don’t think I’d seen before. Plus the hike down the ravine to Wakeena is so beautiful.

Friday was Sharon Jones and the Dapp Kings at the Crystal – Swinging show channeling James Brown riffs. Then a jump over to Dante’s to catch the last of the Neil Young tribute by the Minus 5. Good times!
